Northwest Radiology Network Welcomes Body Imaging Radiologist Dr. Jay Wigboldy

Northwest Radiology Network welcomes Jay Wigboldy, M.D., who is subspecialized in body imaging radiology.

After receiving his Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy, Dr. Wigboldy received his Doctor of Medicine from the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed a diagnostic radiology residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Wash., and he served as section chief of musculoskeletal radiology in support of the John A. Feagin Orthopedic Sports Medicine and Trauma Fellowship at West Point, N.Y.

He most recently served as a partner at Central Illinois Radiology Associates, LLC in Springfield, Ill., and a chief of abdominal imaging at Madigan Army Medical Center.

Dr. Wigboldy is certified by and a diplomate of the American Board of Radiology and is a member of the Radiological Society of North America and American Roentgen Ray Society.

He has authored publications on topics including a computer tomography scan versus upper gastrointestinal fluoroscopy for diagnosis of staple line leak following bariatric surgery as well as spontaneous acute subdural hematoma of arterial origin mimicking epidural hematoma on computer tomograph.
